This Mexican Pavilion was the competition entry designed by AS/D for Shanghai Expo 2010.

World fairs are showcases that deploy human advancement in regard of science, art and technology – pavilions act as platforms to exchange culture, history, experience and innovative ideas about the future.

The design scheme for the Mexican Pavilion is built upon 3 main components: the base, the inclined plane and the floating volume; each component intents to reveal, the essence and originality of our everyday life, representing our culture towards a modern country involving design, environment, natural resources and historical background.
